MYSTERY FUR
PRODUCED IN FRANCE. London, November 21. The Paris correspondent of the “Daily Dispatch” says that French furriers have produced a mystery fur of silvery gtey resembling chinchilla, but not possessing the black roots and points. It is the product of a cross between a rabbit and some other animal, but its nature is a jealously guarded secret. Tarisiennes arc enraptured with the fur and are paying £lOO for a half-length cape. Another new skin is obtained from unborn calves, but it is unlikely to be popular owing to its origin.—Sydney “Sun” Cable.
