DISTRICT NOTIFICATIONS

Infectious diseases reported to the district health authorities for the week ended at noon yesterday showed a decrease of one, when compared with the notifications for the previous seven days. There were 17 cases in this week’s bulletin, of which the Waira-rapa-East Cape area reported 20. Locally, there were 12 cases, nine of which were scarlet fever. Central Wellington: Scarlet fever, I) (6); diphtheria, 1 (3); enteric fever,.!
