WHEN A MAN’S DIVORCED
NOT SUFFICIENT REASON TO NEGLECT HIS CHILDREN.
A man who had divorced his wife, but who is still paying maintenace for his children, sought the aid of Air. J. H. Salmon, S.M., in the Magistrates Court yesterday and asked His Worship to grant rescission of an order for the children’s support which had been previously made against him. Tn refusing the application Mr. Salmon said it was really a most extraordinary thing that when n man was divorced he seemed to think that all his obligations ceased ami that he could immediately forget his children and neglect any responsibility he should show towards them. Under tho circumstances he decided to let the order stand.
