Christchurch, November 22.

Two youthful motor-cyclists, who endeavoured to elude a vigilant traffic inspector, but were eventually brought to book, had their licenses suspended till March 31 next, and were disqualified from holding licenses for a further 12 months in addition to being fined by Mr. H. A. Young, S.M., to-day. The inspector said that lie did 45 miles an hour in endeavouring to catch one and forty miles an hour in overhauling the other.
