PROSPECTS FOR WOOL
ENCOURAGING LONDON MESSAGE. BY TELEGRAPH. I’IIESS ASSOCIATION Hastings, November 20. A Hawke’s Bay rtjnholder in a big way received the following cablegram from his London agents this morning:— "We consider the outlook for the new clip encouraging. The position is statistically sound, as stocks are negligible everywhere. We are of, the O! inion that the present fall is due to a b.ar movement.” It was noticeable at yesterdays sale at Napier that in many instances broken wool, which includes necks, pieces, and bellies, sold at comparatively higher I rates than good sound fleece. The ConI tment absorbs most of this broken wool.
