KNOCKED DOWN BY BICYCLE

MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL Dominion Special. Auckland, November 20. Fatal injuries were received by Samuel John Jones (aged 54), residing with his sister at Hutton Street, Otahuhn, shortly before half-past eight last night through being knocked down by a bicycle. His death occurred this morning. Jones was crossing the main street in Otahuhu on his way to a party when he was knocked down by a push bicycle. He was carried into an hotel end a doctor sent for. After receiving medical attention he was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital where he died shortly after six o’clock this morning. An inquest was. this morning, opened before the Coroner (Mr. W. R McKean, SAL). Evidence of identification was taken and tho inquiry was then adjourned until next Tuesday morning.
