A CYCLIST DIES IN HOSPITAL.

By TELEGRAPH.—BBESS ASSOCIATION. Christchurch, November 20. Stephen Payne, who was badly injured in a collision with a motor van on Thursday, died at Christchurch Hospital this morning. Last Thursday Payne was cycling across tho intersection of Linwood Avenue and Cashel Street when tlio collision occurred. He was thrown to the ground and sustained concussion. Last night lie underwent an operation but his condition did not improve. Payne was 45 years of age.
