END OF PALMERSTON SEASON dominion Special. Palmerston North, November 20. The golf season locally closed to-day, when prizes won during the season v ere presented by the president, Mr. S Rapley, who congratulated the winners and’ said that the club had experienced verv successful season. He paid a tribute to the work of Mrs. L. Seifert, ladies’ bon. secretary, and Mr. M E. V. Spear, lion. treasurer of the chib, and spoke in appreciative terms of the state of the links, lhe days games resulted as follow: — Mixed Foursomes. —11. Seifert and Mrs. Hooper, (14—10-51; J. Carter and Miss N. McHardy, 70—15—5; H. G. Bagnall and Miss Watson, 00—10—59. Consolation Prize.—S. Goldingham and Miss N Fitzherbert.
