INTERCLUB MATCHES CONTINUED HEAVY GREENS In dull weather, with a cool southerly breeze and a few spots of lain now and again, the inter-club matches were continued on Saturday afternoon. The greens were still heavy as the result of Friday’s rain, and fine play was consequently minimised. Wellington players, however, may take heart of grace, as the weather all ever the Dominion this spring lias been uniformly unfavourable to bowls, most of all perhaps in Auckland, according to visitors from the northern city who were on tlie local greens on Saturday.
