A YOUTH’S THEFTS
Dominion Special. Christchurch, November 20. Keith Geary, alias Kenneth Guy (a voutb of IS), pleaded guilty before J»r. If. A. Young, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to stealing £2l, the properly of Aubrey Vernon Anson on March 19. Chief Detective Gibson said Geary was employed by Anson, who gave him £24 to pay sonic rent, but he disappeared until arrested in Timaru last Thursday. Previously ho was a Civil Servant in Wellington, and committed several thefts there before ho disappeared. Accused said he had spent the money on clothes and n. holiday on the West Coa»t.. Geary was admitted to probation for two years and ordered to refund the money in such sums as the probation officer directs. Geary was (hen charged that on September 3, 1925. being a servant of the New Zealand Government, ho stoic postal notes to Hie value of 65.. the property of the Government. On this charge he was remanded to appear at Wellington on November 23.
