INTER-CLUB MATCH DRAW. The following ie the draw-for. the first round of the" senior grade inter-club matches to commence at Miramar on November 27:—Brougham Hill v. Miramar: Thorndon v. University: Newtown v. Lvall Bay; Wellington, a bye. No third-grade games will be played on November 27, but they will commence on December 4. dub -ecretaries and players must make themselves conversant with the rules to facilitate the conduct of the competition as a whole, and the matches in particular.
With only one exception, Ayres’ “Championship” Tennis Balls have been adopted this season by every N.Z. provincial association. Quality must tell. Perfect in flight. Use Ayres’ “C.S.” Ball for hard courts.— Advt.
SPALDING’S FOR WORLD CHAMPIONS. In the notable tennis victory of Borotra and Lacoste over U.S.A, in the semi-finals of the All-American Singles Championship, and in Lacoste’s defeat of Borotra in the final, Spalding s Tennis Balls were used.
