PASSENGER TRANSPORT SERVICE
WORKING AGREEMENT REACHED.
Proceedings in connection with the claims of the workers engaged in motor.transport passenger services throughout the Dominion was further considered yesterday, before a Council of Conciliation, presided over by the Commissioner, My. P. Halley. The proceedings were taken in eoinmittee. and at the conclusion of the meeting an official announcement was made that a working agreement had been arranged in connection with all disputed points, including wages and hours of work, so far as service car employees are concerned.
The remaining sections of taxis’ employees and those workers employed insuburban cars, will be heard at Auckland on Monday next. November 26.
