After 50 years of service in the Methodist Church, the Rev. Samuel Lawry, of Christchnrch, is retiring from the active ministry, states our Christchnrch correspondent. He has a record of 34 years as a circuit minister, and 16 year a connextional secretary for New Zealand. Mr. Lawry was a student at King’s College, Auckland, before entering the ministry.
