MR. R. DARROCH TO RETIRE

At the Education Board meeting yesterdav the resignation of Air. R. Darroch, headmaster of the Terrace School, was accepted, as.

from January 31 next. Air. Darroch will retire on superanima t i o n after 38 years’ service. Mr; Darroch occupied tire position of headmaster at Roseneatb and Alount Cook Boys’ Schools before appointment to his- present position.

Favourable reference to his work was made by the ‘ chairman and members, and his' services as hon. secretary of the Navy League were specially commended.
