On all sides the prospects of the various girls are discussed, and the Wellington representatives, Misses Doreen ' McCubbin and Isobel Wilson, are freely , mentioned, as the successful candidates. Both girls receive tremendous ovations at His Majesty’s Theatre nivhtly, and not a few Aucklanders are convinced that they will take the coveted honours back to the capital citv. In . anv case Wellington will not be.-disappointed in its girls, who are admired on all sides. “Miss Auckland” will be. announced on Friday night.
