ANNUAL CONFERENCE OPENED. BY Teaegeaph.—Press Association'.. Napier, November 17. The annual conference of the -New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Federation opened in Napier this morning. A welcome was extended to the delegates by the Mayor (Mr. J. B. Andrews) and .Mr. J. Mason;. M.P;, ;■ and acknowledged bv Air. L. Glover, president- of the federation. Committees were appointed to bring down, reports, and the conference will commence its official business to-morrow.
