NEW CRUISER EMDEN
LEAVES ON WORLD TOUR TO SHOW GERMAN FLAG (Rec. November 16, 8.40 p.m.) Berlin. November 15. The new German cruiser Emden, which is to show the flag throughout the world, left Willielmshafen amidst great manifestations of 'motion by crowds of naval enthusiasts. A religious service was held on Ixiard the ship, and was attended bv the heads of the navy and municipal authorities. Telegrams were read from the Minister of Defence The voyage will occupy seventeen months.
