The German Reichstag has approved of the Franco-German Provisional Trade Agreement. Twelve people were killed by the explosion of a buried war grenade at Trento, in the Tyrol. The Empire Parliamentary delegation on arrival at Perth was given a cordial reception by members of the State Parliament and prominent citizens. Owing to the dry conditions existing in Queensland, Dr. Sharpe, the Anglican Archbishop, has appointed November 21 and 28 as special days for prayers for rain in all churches in the Brisbane diocese.
