TYPHOID IN MASTERTON
SOURCE OP INFECTION LOCATED. Masterton, November 15. During last week four patients were placed in isolation at the Masterton Hospital as actual or possible cases of tvphoid fever. One case was definitely diagnosed as positive, and the other three are under observation. Precautionary measures were taken by the health officers, who are confident that the source of infection lias been located and effectively dealt with. Although no indication was given by the officers as to the source of infection, it is stated definitely that the borough water supply is not in any respect under suspicion.
