STAR CLUB SENIOR FOURS. Club races were continued by the Star Boating Club ‘luring the week-end, when the final of the senior ,our» wiis rowed off. The crews to reach the semi-final stage were: Brookci (str.), Taylor (3), Lensk (2), Shotlander (bow); aud Cooke (Str.), Comerford (3), Cudley (2) and Haines (how) The race was rowed in calm water over a distance- of one and a quarter miles. Cooke’s crew made a good start aud drew out to obtain a lead of a length. Brooker's crew, rowing a. very fast stroke, gradually caught up on their opponents, the race resolving itself into a neck and neck contest for a considerable distance. .From Cooke, who rowel with fine judgment Brooker finally drew nwav to win by threequarters of a length.
