In the match -between the Evening Post” and the "New Zealand Times on Saturday, the "Evening Post’ batted fisrt, and scored 156. Of these Hanley scored 76. and Forde 22. When stumps were drawn, the "New Zealand Times had lost eight wickets for 70 runs, Hendry scoring 22, and McDonald 11 Bowling for "The Times” Hendr.v took five wickets for 68 runs, McDonald tnree fot 12, and Fleet one for 2<. B- Blundell was the most successful bowler tor the “Post,” securing six wickets at trifling cost.
