ONE LAW FOR THE RICH
Sir,—l see by this morning’s Dominion that the’allegations by the Bey. Howard Elliott are ‘emphatically denied” by. Mr. Dallard (Controller-Gene-ral of Prisons). In fact, Mr. Dallard says- "No decent-minded citizens would take notice of the despicable and - unwarranted attack.” Yet Mr. contradicts this by taking considerable notice of the Rev. oward Elliott, who, bv the wav, is one of the few who has the stomach to say, without fear, what he believes to be true. Bernpresent at the P.P.A. meeting I would like to remark that one of the chief points in the Reav. Howard Elliott s address was that, if Bamne was fit to be released, then so were others; tor, as the Rev. Elliott said there were others still "doing time” who had committed less grievous offences than Baumo, and certain other persons who also had been released. This point is ignored by Mr. Dallard.—l am, etc., p UZZLBD .
