Candidates must hold a teachers cer- ' tificate and should be prepared to teach the following subjects to the New Zealand University Matriculation standard . Ordinary Public. School subjects and, in addition, practical mathematics, including algebra, logarithms, and simple trigonometry, elementary mechanics, electricity and magnetism. They must be over 21 yeais of a o e and be physically fit, as to which they will be required to undergo medical examination as necessary.
