SECTIONS OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC. Dominion SpeciaE, Dunedin, November 12. Following on the announcement that the Land Board had approved of the conditions. drafted by the Commissioner (Mr. R. S. Galbraith) la regard’to reopening for selection the sections of the Clifton' Settlement that had been taken up or relinquished, the Commissioner has now submitted proposals bv the field inspectors with regard to valuations of section IS, 2004 acres, and section. 2S, 553 acres. The settlement has been resurveyed and the original value written down m accordance with the adjustments made by the Revaluation Board on soldiers holdings in the same settlement. It lias, therefore, been decided to recommend that the sections be offered for selection to the general public on renewable lease at the field inspectors valuations.
