The arrest was brought about, by one of the accused opening a bank account in' a fictitious name, and issuing valueless cheques. The police found their quarry in a restaurant. . As both men were being escorted to the car, one made a dash for liberty. He was pursued down the waterfront by Travis and a struggle ensued. A constable supplied needy reinforcement aud took the man into custody. , ' '
