SYDNEY WOOL SALES
BETTER TONE DISI’LAYED. (Received ■ Nov,’.ll, <1.15 p.m.). ■ Sydney, November 11. At' the wool sales' competition showed much improvement compared with the opening series. All well grown merinos showing quality met with keen demand. The market displayed no material change in values, but there was a decidedly better tone and a hardening tendency on finer merinos. Comebacks and crossbreds made full late rates. Greasy merino sold to 30jd. per lb., the highest price so far of the season.
