FIRE IN TARANAKI STREET

At 12.-18 yesterday the Fire Brigade received a call to a wood and iron two-storied building of seven rooms, 90 Taranaki Street. The building was owned bv Messrs. Thomas Ballingei and Co.. Ltd., and occupied by Charles Elbert. A bedroom on the first floor at the rear of the premises, together, with its contents, was severely damaged by fire and water, while smoke and water damaged the rest of Hie building He piepared.
