FOUND DEAD

TWO CANTERBURY CASES. Dominion Special. Christchurch, November 11. The body of a woman - was found lying at the foot of a tree in Hagley Park this morning. A description of tlie woman was broadcast, and later she was identified as Loita Jacobs, aged 54. She was a resident of Christchurch, but had been away from the city for some time, and returned only recently. There is nothing to suggest that there, was any foul play or suspicious circumstances concerning her death. Apparently she bad been dead some time. Ernest Ludlow, aged 72, a grocer, of Rangiora, was found dead in bed this morning. Deceased suffered from asthma, and no inquest will be necessary. With two grown-up daughters, he came from South Africa about three years ago, and there are no relatives in New Zealand.
