MAGISTRATE’S COURT
BY-LAY AND CIVIL CASES Mr. J. H. Salmon dealt with by-laws cases in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. For exceeding the speed limit, Emil Frederick McSweeney, Gordon Hope Allan. and William Gardiner were each fined £2 and costs 7s. ’ Negligent driving cost Alfred John Severn £2 and costs 7s. Emil Frederick McSweeney was also fined £1 and costs 7s. for driving on the wrong side of the street, and Ernest George Burling was fined .hl and costs 7s. for failure to keep to the left. Claude W. Ellison was fined 10s. for not having lights on his car, and Joseph Patrick O’Hara was convicted of having an unregistered car and ordered to pay costs.
