LOADING SAND BALLAST
WATERSIDE TROUBLE SETTLED Bv Telegraph-—Press Association Dunedin, May 3. The watersiders’ dispute regarding the handling of sand ballast for the Reamer Port Augusta has been settled, the men agreeing to accept 2s. Bd. an hour; and the vessel sailed for Port Kembla this morning. OVERTIME REFUSED. Christchurch, May 2. The intercolonial steamer Manuka was delayed in her departure from Lyttelton yesterday owing to the refusal of the watersiders to work overtime She is expected to sail this afternoon for Wellington.
