MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Mr. W. G. Riddell. S.M., presided at the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday. John McLellan, a second. offender for drunkenness, was fined «£l. in default fourteen davs’ imprisonment. Ernest Gustav Hugo Lohman. a labourer, aged 37, was icnteneed to fourteen days’ imprisonment .on a charge of trespassing on his wife s premises during the currency of a separation order. . Albert Winsor, alias George Wmsor, alias Albert. Joseph Winsor, was remanded until May 8 on a charge of breaking, entering, and theft irom a dwelling at. Day’s Bay. Bail was allowed in the sum of <£ls(l Percy Cashman, charged with using disorderly behaviour, refusing to Quit licensed premises, and a breach of his prohibition order, was fined £2 on each charge, the default period being fixed at fourteen days’ imprisonment. On a charge of failing to comply with the terms of a probation order, he was convicted and discharged, and for wilfully damaging a coat belonging to a police constable, he was convicted and ordered to pay 10s. towards the cost of the damage done. Seven days were allowed in which to find tno money.
