WEST AUSTRALIAN CREW WINS KING’S CUP CHAMPION SCULLS WON BY * A. CAMBRIDGE (Rec. May 3, 5.5 p.m.) Melbourne, May 3. At the Yarra regatta, the King’s Cup, which involves the eight-oared championship of Australia, resulted: West Australia, 1; Tasmania, 2; New South Wales, 3. A good finish.. West Australia won by two lengths. Time, 10 min. 20 l-ssec. South Australia, Victoria, and Queensland finished in that order. Champion Sculls.—-A. Cambridge (Victoria), 1; Cuthbertson (Tasmania), 2; Ricketts (South Australia), 3. Time, 17min. 13 l-ssec. Boynes, of Queensland, the former ghampion, when leading at the mile, was seized with stomach trouble and did not finish.—Press Assn.
