JOINT FUNCTION OF AMERICA AND AUSTRALIA.. (Rec. May 3, 1115 p.m.) Honolulu, Alay, 2. Governor Farrington, of Hawaii, addressing the Army and Navy officers, and members of Congress, at the conclusion of the Hawaiian manoeuvres, said: "We look upon our neighbour. Australia, across the Pacific, as upon Canada z across the border, with a feeling of, (brotherhood. Our joint function is to make the Pacific what its name implies.
