Sir James Parr spoke of the earlv days, when there was no school between Rotorua and Thames, and observed that now there were schools throughout the valley. The Alatamata institution was a gjreat experiment in giving country children the educational advantages of the city. The junior high school had about 190 pupils already, said the Alinister, and promised to be q. success. The whole IJominiqH was watching the results of the movement.
