LOWER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING. A special meeting of the Lower ftnlt Borough Council was held last week. Mr. W. T. Strand was installed as Mayor. and Councillors A. .1. Hobbs, A. Grierson. J. .Milcliell, L. T. Watkins, E. W. Hunt, E. Waldie, F. S. Teagle, W. Meldrum. and A. Mcßain were sworn tn. Councillor Hobbs was unanimously elected Deputy-Mayor. Councillor L. T. Watkins was elected as member on the Hull Hoad Control Bon rd.
