VITAL STATISTICS
WELLINGTON FIGURES FOR APRIL The vital statistics for the Wellington district for the month of April were announced by the registrai of births, marriages and deaths yesterday. Births numbered 184, as compared with 170 for the same month last year. Seventy-eight deaths were recorded last month as compared with 59 during April -1924. The number of marriage notices totalled 106 for the month just -passed, as compared with 137 for the corresponding period last year, and the marriages by the registrar amounted to 17 as compared with 32 for April of 1924.
