OPOSSUM SHOOTING
SEASON’S REGULATIONS. Regulations, practically the same as last year, have been issued, governing the opossum season in New Zealand. The dates for the various districts are:— Mav 30 to June 30, Auckland Acclimatisation District: M:vy 31 *to Julv 31, Westland; May 31. to August 31, 'Taranaki; June 1 to June 30, Otago; June 1 to July 31, Nelson; June 1 to August 31, Buller, Grev, Ilawcra; June 15 to August 15, North Canterbury; June 16 to August 15, Stratford; July 1 to July 31, Rotorua, Wainiate; Julv 1 to August 11, Wellington; July 1 to August 31, Wanganui.
