At one time this year during the movement of the Western Canadian cron east there was a string of freight cars loaded with grain 12 miles long making its way from Winnipeg to Montreal over the line. s of the Canadian Pacific Railway. In this there were 41 trains and 1579 cars, containing between 2,500,000 and 3,000,000 bushels of grain, which had been moved out of Winnipeg within 24 hours.
