By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright

The New South Wales Profiteering Prevention Court has ordered tho decontrol of all building materials.

A message from Nairobi states that, acting on the advice of the Indian Government, the Indians there have decided to accept temporarily the representation recently offered by tho Government —four seats in lhe Indian Legislative Council and one in the Executive Council.

A fire destroyed tho former gun-car-riage factory at Bombay, used since tho war for holding surplus Government stores, mainly textiles, army boots, and medicinal supplies. A high'wind bellied tho fire, and it rapidly spread. Tho loss is estimated at a million and a half of rupees.

Mr. Robert Smillio, speaking at Glasgow, said that international peace would solvo all social problems, but the Governments would not bring it about because it was not in tho interests of organised capital. Instead of blaming the Government for war, people should join in electing a Government pledged not merely to disarmament, but to submit all national quarrels to a conference for settlement.
