The Christmas pleasures for the seafarers were continued yesterday at th Aitors’ Friend Society, when the mornin- was spent’ in mu-ic, vocal and instrumental, and round alter round o choruses. After lunch games were - dulged in. In tho afternoon the whole 32 miles of glorious views by °^ l '_ tion car* were done by the party. - riving nt the institute, tea, prepared by tho lady workers, ", as ~'V'’fnll Justice i U T y ATe" 1 W™ « concert was given "to a fine audience that demanded nmnv encores. The performers were MAS Howard, Misses Owen, Lansdoi n, V Mueller, and Messrs. Burke Lansdowne Faulkner, A. Brown, Huxford, and W. C. A. Brown. The prizes for the day’s sports were donated by Mesdaraes Styles, FlanaghaiK Young, and Miss Dalgleish. Supper, “God Save the King, a oheerv vote of thanks, and Auld Lang Syne’’ closed a happy day.
