AUCKLAND TO TAURANGA
By Telegraph—Press Association. Tauranga, December 27. The ocean yacht race from Auckland to Tauranga ’was won by the Waione, with Restless second. The yachts left Auckland at 4 p.m. on Saturday and the first io arrive here was the Victory, which crosseel the mark at 3.48 on Sundav afternoon, followed by the Waione at, 5.6’ p.m.. Restless 5.12 p.m.. Heartsease 5.55 p.m.. Ngaliau 6.9 p.m. The Waione won on time allowance. All the visiting Ixiats are competing in a regatta here to-morrow.
