AN INFANT’S DEATH

An inquest was held to-day concerning the death of Allan Scott, three days old, son of Rose and Cuthbert Scott. Tho Coronel - found that death was duo to asphyxiation caused 1/y undue pressure on the throat, such pressure being exercised by the mother. There was no evidence to show her mental condition. The child died in the public hospital, and afterwards the mother also died in tho same institution, from natural causes.
