BLACKBALL MEN MAY RESUME TO-DAY.
By Telegranh—Press Association
Greymouth, December 14. The dispute between State miners and fhe management over the terms of the new agreement remains unsettled. The State ’’miners’ unions met at Runanga and Rewanui to-night, and by very large majorities decided that the general manager’s terms could not be accepted The voting at Runanga was 95 to 25 and at Rewanui it was similar. One bone of contention is the l”;<’'"ision for miners to do trucking, winch the mon contend increases the risk of accidents and is a reversion to tho conditions'of ton years ago. as is abo part of tho timbering clauses. Probably no work will be done in the State mine toH is reported that tho Blackball minors will resume to-morrow under the new award.
