I know that you can help with the forth, coming tour of New Zealand very materially. We are undertaking a heavy financial responsibility without prospects of making any profits, but I shall feel quite, satisfied if we manage to cover expenses. This result can only 'bo achieved by the assistance and support of all music lovers in New Zealand. 1 hope that it will be possible for you to play as soloist with the orchestra at some of the New Zealand concerts, and would be very glad to know if you would be available."
