Section 3, having an area of 22.6 perch s and a frontage of 46ft. 9in. to the Esplanade, Muritai, was sold aft?r k«cn competition to Messrs. Stratton nvd Hood for Hie sum of £250. The unrjld properties are- now in the hands of the auctioneers for private sale. Guardsmen of good height being badly wanted, recruiting fees are to be paid according to height, 7s. being awarded for recruits over sft. Ilin.
