COMPROMISE EFFECTED. Melbourne, November 29. A compromise has been effected between tho seamen and tho Union Company respecting tho Wainui dispute, and tho vessel sailed for Wellington to-day. The seamen will receive dll a day, and the firemen 225., with ail expenses. Tho mon will be provided with a passage back to Melbourne.—Press Assn.
