PRISONERS SENTENCED
Several prisoners wlio had pleaded guilty to offence_s in the Magistrates Court were sentenced by His Honour Mr. Justice Sim in the Supreme Court on Saturday. Andrew Rugg and Nellie Hall had pleaded guilty to having made a false declaration under the Marriage Act. Rugg was fined £5 and Hall £l. A youth, 18 years of age, Edgar William Allan, was sentenced to five years reformative treatment for breaking, entering, and theft (five charges) at Ohakune. r ■ A young girl named Rose Kawonga, for forging a railway pass, was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon, within six months.
