YACHTING
PORT NICHOLSON CLUB. Successful yacht races were held by members of tho Port Nicholson Yacht Club on Saturday—the first races of the results (uncorrected regarding handicaps) are as follow:— First Class Race—Wairere 11, 1; Viola. 2; Rona, 3. Second Class Race.—Galatea, 1; Seabird, 2; Wylo, 3. At the conclusion of the races there was a misunderstanding regarding the “light weather” and “heavy weather and “moderate-” handicaps. The. results published above have yet to be amended.
