London, November 21. The Queen and Princess Mary had luncheon with Viscount Lascelles at Chesterfield House. Afterwards the trio drove in a pair-horse open landau iiom Buckingham Palace through Hyde Park and the main West End thoroughfares, where large crowds recognised and warmlv saluted the party. Sir " Peter Mcßride, Agent-General, telegraphed Princess Mary congratulations on behalf of the Government and people .of Victoria. Princess Mary replied: “I am greatly Struck by the kind message, and wish you to thank the Government and people most sincerely for their good wishes.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
