At Thursday’s concert at the. Sailors’ Friend Society, Mrs. P. Morgan^was the hostess, and all tastes were catered for. That keen enjoyment was given was shown by the encores. Tho performers were: Mrs. P. Morgan, Misses E. Chance, Peggy Jones, Whelan, Passau, and Messrs. Vai Jones, Loftus, McDonald, and Lang. Miss Edna Stubbs was at the piano. It was announced, as advertised, that on Tuesday next a fine picture show will be given in aid of Christmas work. Admission will bo by coin or gifts. The prizes for the competitors came from Mrs. Levick, and went to the men in port.
